D&C 43: 15-17

Doctrine & Covenants Section 43: Chapter 15-17
 15 Again I say, hearken ye elders of my church, whom I have appointed: Ye are not sent forth to be taught, but to teach the children of men the things which I have put into your hands by the power of my Spirit;
16 And ye are to be taught from on high. Sanctify yourselves and ye shall be endowed with power, that ye may give even as I have spoken.
17 Hearken ye, for , behold, the great day of the Lord is nigh at hand.

Missionary Madi had another highlight of her mission. Now you wonder what a "Highlight" might entail. Well for Missionary Madi the list is pretty broad. They had a Brown Out in the Philippines which means no electricity. Well never fear Missionary Madi and her coveted head lamp are here. She was super excited to be able to wear it while she made French Toast. Her and her head lamp are personally responsible for providing nutrition for her and the other sister missionaries.
I told you she is AMAZING!
Super Missionary Madi!

Puppy Love! She is so beautiful! Love Her!
This little guy looks like he is laughingly saying "You are a missionary?".

  1. I just love Madison's blog. She seems like the happiest missionary and always looks like she is loving what she does. We live in Layton and my daughter Courtnee Wood has been in the Laoag mission for exactly one month. She has absolutely loved it so far.

    1. We love our missionary so much. I am so amazed by this incredible generation of missionaries that are serving. One of the sisters in Madi's district is also from Layton, Sister Dumas do you know her? Also is your daughter one of the younger sister missionaries (19 year old) and what language is she speaking? Thanks for reaching out.

  2. I don't know Sister Dumas. Courtnee is one of the younger sister missionaries. She had always been adamant that she would never serve a mission. But while she was at BYU in January she felt an overwhelming feeling that she should go. She is speaking Tagalog. Courtnee also has a blog that she set up before she left and asked me to keep it up. If you would like to look it up, it's: shinguardstosandals.blogspot.com
    Did Madison graduate in 2012? If so, does she know Tyson Denney? My oldest daughter is married to Derek Denney. We love that family.
    I always look forward to reading Missionary Madi's blog. I can tell that she is a lot of fun!

  3. Small world. Yes we all know and love Tyson. He has spent a lot of time in our home. He dated one of Madison's best friends all through school. He is also serving a mission right now. So fun I am excited to check out your blog. Missionary Mamas have to stick together.
